Pleated Filter Seaming Equipment

Massman offers over 22 years of experience building filter assembly equipment for the automotive, aviation, HVAC, medical, and water filtration industries. We have a standard line of systems for end pleat seaming using a metal clip, hot melt and ultrasonic welding for cellulose paper, synthetic, multi-layer and wire backed filter media. Semi-automatic versions provide economical solutions for cycle speeds up to 30ppm; fully automatic systems provide cycle speeds up to 60ppm and higher. Custom and hybrid versions of our systems provide comprehensive choices to fit within your current factory environment. End Cap Assembly Equipment

End Cap Assembly Machinery attaches end caps to the seamed filter. End caps can be secured with a variety of technologies including adhesive potting, heat embedding, molding and ultrasonic welding. Epoxy, hot melt, foaming hot melt, plurafoam, polyamide, thixotropic, non-thixotropic plastisol and urethane are all acceptable for potting solutions. We have fully automatic and semi-automatic standard processes which can be customized for your unique requirements. Other factory automation equipment options include flexible robotic vision sorting and assembly, can depalletizing, and packaging.
